Attached is a pdf which is the standard information that Adrian Danks (current head of higher degrees in the school) sends to all those who enquire about PhDs…
when: September 17, 18, 19, 10am – 4pm
where: honours studio/s (depending on numbers)
what: three day intensive editing
This is only available for students who have submitted a draft on time by Friday September 12. The aim of the bootcamp is for your draft thesis or exegesis to go through at least one major complete edit over these three days. Only those who can come to the full three days should apply (it’s all or nothing).
RSVP is necessary, email to me by Monday September 8th and final numbers will be confirmed on the 15th (checking that drafts have been submitted).
More details to follow….

Read them all. Key steps:
- prepare your research proposal
- fill in the application form
both these need to be done by next week’s session. The research proposal will be preliminary and a sketch.
The main webpage for applying for a PhD at RMIT. The other main information is about supervisors and research groups and centres, but we are covering that in our workshops.
Next Monday, 3pm. First of probably three workshops on applying for a Phd. In the honours lab…
